James Douglas - Partner
Jim also provides advice in relation to succession planning with a view to avoiding disputes in the future.
Jim has been able to successfully represent numerous clients through negotiating difficult disputes within the family which have arisen out of family businesses e.g. industrial and farming businesses.
Jim is aware that it is important to take time to listen and understand client’s legal and related issues and to give sensible and realistic advice.
However, unfortunately, some disputes cannot easily be resolved and such cases he has the skill and experience to take matters to Court for a judicial decision.
Jim is a member of the Law Society of South Australia and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
