Paralegal - James Caldicott
James has completed a Bachelor of Laws at the University of South Australia. He will be admitted as a barrister and solicitor in the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2012. While awaiting admission as a practitioner, he is assisting the solicitors in our firm with criminal and civil matters. James has a particular interest in assisting victims of crime to seek compensation through the criminal injury compensation fund.
During his university studies, James was the Equity and Education Officer for the Law Students Association. He competed in the State and National negotiating and trial competitions. He also worked in the University of South Australia’s Legal Advice Clinic, providing advice in all areas of law, from contractual disputes and intellectual property claims to family law matters. Through his work with the Legal Advice Clinic he has developed an ability to assist clients in a calm and professional manner.
The Caldicott & Co team look forward to James commencing work as a solicitor in 2012.
